College in Niger wins prestigious structural engineering award

Our project, Collège Amadou Hampaté Bâ, Niger, has been declared one of the winners of the 2023 Structural Awards by the Institute of Structural Engineers.

We’re thrilled that our commitment to using local, sustainable materials, as well as achieving results which show how structural engineering can positively impact communities, have been recognised by this prestigious prize.

The judges commented: “The project had a major impact on the local community and the students that it serves."

A huge congratulations to the whole team, and big thanks to our partners Michael Hadi Associates (Structural) and Max Fordham (M&E).
