I am delighted to announce the launch of Article 25’s Impact Report 2023-2024, showcasing the transformative power of the buildings we’ve designed and delivered across the Global South. This past year, our projects have continued to change lives in healthcare, education, housing, and beyond, reinforcing our mission to design and build high-quality hospitals, schools and homes in the places that need them most.

The numbers speak for themselves. Did you know that the schools we designed are now providing education to over 2,300 students, and our healthcare facilities have served over 550,000 people in the last year alone? These are just a few examples of how our work is making a lasting impact on the ground.

In the report, you’ll also find a transparent breakdown of our income and expenditure over the past year, including the vital contributions from our pro bono partners in engineering and quantity surveying. Their expertise ensures we can deliver projects to the highest possible standards, even in the most challenging environments.

We’ve highlighted five key projects in this year’s report. These include the Kao La Amani Children’s Village, which offers a loving home for over 60 vulnerable children, Montserrat’s new National Hospital with construction due to begin later this year, and Niger College - a project that received both RIBA and AIA awards for its innovative sustainable design that will benefit 1,200 students.

The success of these projects is echoed in the positive testimonials we’ve received from clients and partners. Their stories show how our buildings are helping more children complete their education, improving access to healthcare for entire communities, and providing safe homes for families.

Together with our More Than a Building partners—including architects, engineers, contractors, and developers—we’re creating a movement that proves architecture can make a real difference. With the recent appointment of eight ambassadors, we’re excited to grow this network further and drive donations that enable more impactful projects.
